  • This two-hour introductory course is intended to provide an overview of what evaluation for nonprofits is, its history, and basic methodologies. No previous experience or formal training required! This session is designed to aid staff in understanding historical inequities in evaluation, why it’s important to their current work, and how to design a basic mixed methodological evaluation plan.

  • Building on Evaluation 101, this three-hour course allows participants to practice quantitative and qualitative methods, learn the basis of data dissemination and community participation, and develop an understanding of advanced evaluation plan creation. This training is designed to give participants the opportunity to apply methods to their programs and interventions.

  • This four-hour course is centered around how to utilize an evaluation plan to leverage funding for your organization. This session will explore how to use evaluation plans and results to leverage funding from public and private sources. Our team will conduct an overview of your current funders and provide examples of how evaluative activities must be tailored to fit different audiences. Based on current philanthropic trends and our team’s experience, we will do a “risk tolerance” assessment of your funders to explore new evaluative techniques and how this may set you apart from your peers in the application process.

  • Evaluation is often the last element considered when designing a new program or intervention. Our team showcases how evaluative activities should be utilized when creating or redesigning programs. We will discuss how to integrate evaluation into program piloting and how to utilize your results to course correct your programs with community input.

  • The cost of our training sessions varies depending on the number of sessions in the series and the size of your group. Prices start at $7,000 for a one-session series for groups of 10-25 people, plus travel. For larger groups or multi-part series, we offer customized pricing options.
